Mental Health & Wellness

Wellness is one of our four district priorities. We know the pandemic has created additional wellness challenges for everyone and are continuing to focus on our students' and staff members' mental health and well-being. To help support our wellness commitment, please see the below resources.

Community Services

Addiction & Mental Health 
  • Access Mental Health: 403-943-1500. Provides information, consultation and referral to people living in the Calgary zone who have mental health and/or addiction concerns. Mental Health Clinicians complete a clinical interview over the telephone to assess the individuals’ needs.​
  • Addiction Helpline: 1-866-332-2322. Confidential toll-free telephone advice and service referral for adults and youth that require addiction services.
  • Health Link Alberta List of Important Phone Numbers: Includes a more comprehensive list of numbers for some not listed here.
  • Kids Help Phone: 1-800-668-6868. A phone counsellor is available 24/7.
  • Mental Health Helpline: 1-877-303-2642. Toll-free 24/7 phone service to help Albertans with mental health concerns.
  • Support for Family Violence: 310-1818. Connect with helplines, financial assistance, shelter and other supports and know the law and your rights.
